The Girlie Project is a sketch comedy troupe from Emerson College right here in Boston! When the troupe was founded in 2005, it was only open to females. However, as time went on we decided that men had finally proved themselves as a funny gender and we allowed them to join the troupe. Now, The Girlie Project is Emerson’s only female dominated sketch comedy troupe, and focuses on promoting women in comedy.Everyone in The Girlie Project loves comedy, snack food, and watching reruns of The View with their moms. We’re so excited to have the opportunity to perform at the Boston Comedy Arts Festival and we hope we make you laugh
OSFUG is a high-octane fast f***ing' sketch comedy group. We have a monthly sketch show at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre in NYC that has been selling out shows for over a year, and has been listed in the New York Times, Timeout NY and the Village Voice, among others. We cram more comedy into an hour than any other group around, and have a fuckin' awesome time doing it.
Legend says the Wendigo was born & bred at NYC’s Magnet Theater, where it waits in the shadows to scare with it’s smart writing and surprising heart. A team of veteran sketch performers and writers, Wendigo presents an evening of their very best sketches.
